The Manistee News Advocate's Luke Morey published an excellent recap of Onekama's 60-0 Homecoming week win over Mesick. That recap is available here. Prior to Homecoming week, our very own Genna Short and Riley Cogburn recapped Onekama's playoff rematch win at Marion, 38-16, on September 7, 2025. Finally, while it was not covered locally (there is a paywalled St. Ignace News recap of the game online), Onekama defeated Cedarville, an 8-1 team last season, 42-16 on the road, just north over the Mackinac Bridge.
