JV and varsity volleyball hosted Glen Lake tonight! The varsity battled hard in an exciting five set thriller!






Varsity Cross Country traveled to Shepherd for the John Bruder Classic!




The middle school volleyball teams hosted their first home match of the season against Glen Lake.





The Varsity football team traveled to Baldwin for its second game of the season and earned an impressive 42–8 victory over the Panthers!

Instead of delivering books in mid-October during Homecoming week, books will arrive to campus the week of September 21. Our yearbook team will begin to process book deliveries upon their arrival.

The boys and girls cross country teams kicked off their season at the Pete Moss Invitational in Benzie, and the girls got off to an incredible start! The girls team finished 6th overall in the D3 & D4 division and took 1st place among all D4 schools! Three girls earned individual medals. Callie Sinke 3rd place, Addy Zeller 22nd place, Zakia Wagoner 28th place. Congratulations to all of our runners on a fantastic start to the season!



The varsity volleyball team traveled to Mount Pleasant for their first tournament of the season, while the JV team traveled to Ludington for their first tournament as well. Both teams faced some tough competition throughout the day.






Onekama Varsity Volleyball opened the season with an incredible 5 set thriller, defeating Fowler in an exciting battle! What a way to kick off the season!

Great season Portager Softball! Came up short today at Regionals v. Bellaire. We are proud of you!!

Congratulations to Callie Sinke on an outstanding performance at the State Finals! Callie earned 2nd place in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:13.49, securing All-State honors with her impressive finish.

The boys gave it everything they had and battled hard in a tough 4–1 loss. Great season, boys!


Varsity baseball is battling Frankfort in the MHSAA District Semifinal. Frankfort leads 3-1 in the bottom of the 4th inning.


Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Softball Team on winning the District Championship! The team secured the title with a 2–0 victory over Mesick. Outstanding job, ladies!

Heading into the 7th inning, Onekama holds a 2–0 lead over Mesick.


The girls are headed to the district finals after a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Frankfort!


Varsity softball is in action in the district semifinal against Frankfort Panthers. The game is tied 1–1 in the bottom of the third inning.


The Onekama Golf Team competed today in the Northwest Conference Championship at Interlochen Golf Course and had a great showing!
Carson Bradford finished in 2nd place overall, earning First Team All-Conference honors!
Luke Bradford and Tyler Hart both earned Second Team All-Conference honors, with Jacob Burtch receiving an Honorable Mention.
Congratulations to all of these athletes on an awesome accomplishment and a great conference season!



In honor of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States, 6th grade students in Manistee County were invited to participate in an essay contest commemorating this historical milestone. Onekama Middle School yielded multiple contest winners, each of whom will have the unique opportunity to read their essays aloud before the Judges and members of the Michigan Bar Association at the Manistee County Courthouse and Government Center. Congratulations to Alaina Dye and Charleigh Siuda!
