The Manistee County Fair recently wrapped up, and students ranging from our lower elementary to our recent graduates were recognized for their 4-H achievement!
Beginning at the elementary level, fifth grader Bella Homan received grand champion for her market goat, and a best of breed award for her rabbits. Her little sister, second grader Leah Homan, received ribbons for cooking and crafting!
The Homan sisters weren't the only sibling pair involved and recognized for their efforts at this year's fair. Seventh grader Harper Solowiej and her older sister, junior Ellie Edmondson, both showed at the fair, as did junior Emma Bradford and her brother, seventh grader Lane Bradford (not pictured)!
In addition to our current students who participated in this year's 4-H competition, recent graduate David Servinski received a full article in the Manistee News Advocate highlighting his 13 years of 4-H participation!
And, of course, our superintendent, Mr. Dan Mesyar, bravely volunteered to endure the dunk tank at this year's fair! He is pictured below with a group of fair-going students.
