Trip to the EZ Market

Today my class went to the EZ Market to learn about an entrepreneur. Mrs McCarthy taught us about the EZ Market, and she is the owner of EZ Market. First, Mrs McCarthy told us about how the business started, and then how they came up with a plan. She is really nice, we learned about how things are delivered. She needed to find property, had to get loans, and she had to get architects to help her design it. Mrs McCarthy needed workers, lights, and heating. She also needed vendors and loans. Mrs Punches helped with the trip. She set up the trip, when we were done, we got cookies! The employees help a lot with work. I learned a lot!

Today my class walked to EZ Market to learn about being an entrepreneur. Mrs. McCarthy, the owner of EZ market, shared with us how to start a business. Mrs.McCarthy also told us that you have to have a permit for almost everything you do to start a business. One thing I learned

it takes over almost 5 years to start a business. Also another thing I learned is you have to be a certain age to work as a cashier. Another thing I learned is you have to have workers for everything like lights, coolers, heating. I also learned that an architect helps plan what the store will look like.I also learned that when Mrs.Mcarthy was building the business she had to make sure she did not get anything in the lake. I think that getting nothing in the lake was super hard since the EZ Mart is almost on the water. This trip helped me learn so much about starting a business. I would not have learned eny of this if it wasn't for Mrs.Punches. This was so fun I am so grateful that I got to go and learn about how to make a business.

Today my class and I walked to EZ Market to learn about what it takes to open a business. Mrs. McCarthy was the one who talked to us about EZ Market. First you get the needs of the community. Second, you have to find an area to build an EZ Market. Third, you have to have a permit to build. Then you have to find an architect. After that you have to find builders to build the building. Eventually  you have to hire workers to do the lights, coolers, and heating. Next you need to get vendors for your supplies. Then you need to hire people to do the cash register and stock the food. This is what it takes to build a business.

Today my class and I walked to EZ Market to learn about business and what it takes to make one. Mrs. McCarthy is the one that talked to us, and she also is the one that owns the EZ Market. I learned about advertisements and how they make your business better. Something else I learned is that if you want to start a business you need a permit to build.  The next thing you need to build a business is that you make sure that the community wants the store, and you must find property to build on. I also learned that to make your business you need workers, architects, builders, and vedors. Mrs. Punches, who works for JA, is the person that planned this trip. This is what my class and I learned today.

Today my class walked to EZ Market to learn about being an entrepreneur. Mrs. McCarthy spoke to us about how to start a business. First you would get the needs of the community. Next you have to get property. Then get a permit so you can build your store. You would then get loans. Now you need an architect to draw the plans for your store. Then you need builders to build your store. After that you need workers to do the lights, refrigerator, and heating. Now you need stuff to put in your store. You would go to the bank to borrow money. Every once in a while like every month you would pay some back. The money you got from the bank will be for the stuff. You order the stuff but you have to put it on the shelves. Now you need helpers so you would hire employees. You will hire stockers, cashiers, and cleaners. You’ll have to also hire butchers and bakers. Starting a business can be hard to do when you think about it. I thank Mrs. McCarthy for telling us how to start a business.

Today my class and I walked to EZ Market and learned alot about starting a business. Mrs. McCarthy was a speaker who spoke about the EZ Market today. Mrs. Punches who works at JA  helped us understand what Mrs. McCarthy was explaining. My favorite thing I learned was about rain check, it was interesting. One of the first things to start a business you need to know the needs of the community. Another thing you need is a permit and a spot to start your business. Also you have to get loans so you can buy the things you need. You have to get an architect to draw and build your new business. Then you need to get special  worker for things like lights, heating and coolers. Once you have those things you need to find vendors who give you the resources you need. Now you have employees who are workers like a butcher or a baker. Then you need to get your business started by making advertisements like social media. After the speakers were done sharing they gave us a great cookie. I loved my time with Mrs Punches and Mrs McCarthy. It was a great time.

Today my class and I went to EZ Market to talk about entrepreneurs. Mrs McCarthy is the owner of EZ Market with her husband. We learned how to start a business. Since the Ez market is so close to the water she has to get someone to check the water pollution in the water. After we learned how old you have to be to work there. To be the cashier you have to be at least 18. If you want to stock stuff you have to be 13 years old. If you own the place you can not just take stuff. I’m happy that Mrs. Punches and Mrs. Bennett took us.

Today my class walked to EZ Market to learn about being an entrepreneur. Mrs. McCarthy is the owner of EZ Market and she talked to us about her business. Mrs. McCarthy said that there are steps to making a business. The first step is to find out what people want and need. Then you need to buy land to make the business. The third step is you need to get a lot of permits. The fourth step is to get a loan. It is a lot of work to get a loan. The fifth step is to get an architect. The sixth step is to get builders. The seventh step is to get workers for lights, coolers and heating. The eighth step is to get vendors. The ninth step is to hire. Mrs.Mccarthy said that when the vendors get to the store you have to put the stuff on the shelf. She said that the older the stuff is the further it goes closer to the back and the new stuff goes to the front. You need to make sure the stuff looks nice or people will not like your store.  You need cleaners for your business so then your store will be nice. People like clean businesses. You should have coupons so people will come more. Mrs. McCarthy's store had a gas station and it had a cover over. She said it helps when you are in the snow or rain. That is what I learned about making a business.

Then you will need to advertise. You can use social media and advertise in a newspaper. You will also need to get workers like you will need stockers to stock the food and items. Then you need to get cashiers to pay for your things. Also Mrs McCarthy said she donates to schools and food pantries. I'm so glad we got to go and I hope I could start a business of my own.

Today my class and I walked to EZ Market to learn about what it takes to open a business. The person who talked to us and owns EZ Market is Mrs. McCarthy. Mrs. Punches was the person who planned the trip to EZ Market. We went inside and Mrs. McCarthy took us to the biggest place in the store. Mrs. McCarthy told us that to start a business you have to have people say if they want that business or not. We also learned that you have to buy all the products in your business, then sell them, and then pay the person you bought the products from. She told us that she had to hire an architect to show a drawing that you could make your business into. Then she had to hire someone to do heating and cooling. She also said you have to hire a plumber for the bathroom and that you have to hire a cleaner. Then you have to hire employees but the employees have to be 13 to stock the shelves. You have to be at least 18 to work at the cash register and 18 or older to be a baker or a butcher. She also said that you have to be 21 to sell certain drinks. She said she loves to donate products to the school and community. She said if they don't have any more of the item you want you can get coupons for the next time or a rain check. She said the store does advertisements in the newspaper and in the school yearbook. Something I thought was cool is that almost every EZ Market you see is owned by her family. She told us that she had to buy extra property to have room for gas pumps. She also bought a cover thing over the pumps so when it rains or snows or hails. So you don’t get wet or snowed on or hailed on. When it came time for us to leave Mrs. Punches bought cookies for us. I hope that I can do something to repay Mrs. Punches. It was really fun to learn about EZ Market.

Today my class and I walked to EZ Market to learn about entrepreneurs. Mrs. McCarthy is the owner of EZ Market and the one who spoke to us. When my class and I went to EZ Market we found out what it takes to start a business. First you need to find property to build on. Next you need builders. Also a big thing you need is an architect to draw the layout of the building. Then the builders build on your property. She also had to get a permit to build on that land. Then you need to talk to the community about if it was what the town/village needs. Also you need loans to pay the builders and to buy property to build on. Next you need workers for the lights, coolers, and heaters. After that you need vendors. Next after the building is built you need to ship/get products from people who are willing to sell you products you need. Also you need to hire people/employees to work for you. Then you advertise your business so people know where your business is at, put it in the newspaper, or social media/facebook. I thank Mrs. Punches and Mrs. McCarthy for letting us come down there and talking to us about how to start a business.

Today my class and I walked to EZ Market to learn about what it takes to open a business. Mrs. McCarthy, the owner of the EZ Market, talked to us about EZ Market and how it started.

So first they needed to find a good property and find out the needs of the community. Secondly, they need a building permit to build on the property. Then they need to find an architect to draw out the plans for the build. After that they need to find builders and workers to do the lights and heating. Then they needed to find vendors and they needed to hire employees like cashiers, stockers, butcher, bakers, and cleaners. Thanks to Mrs. Punches and Mrs. McCarthy for letting us learn all of this!

Today I went to EZ Market with my class to learn about entrepreneurs. Today we met the owner of EZ Market, Mrs. McCarthy, who was also our speaker. When we went to EZ Market we walked down from the school all the way to it, and it was a long walk there! When we got there we went to the biggest part of the market so Mrs. McCarthy could talk to us about entrepreneurs and how her and her husband started EZ Market. What was really cool was that we got to go around the entire store for the time we were there! Then she explained to us about the beginning of the EZ Market. Then she told us about how she had to get loans from the bank to be able to build the market, but before she did all that she had to get special permits to be able to put the market there. When she got the permits she had to hire an architect to map out what the building is going to look like. Then she had to hire workers for the lights, cooling, heating, and of course employees for the store. Once Mrs. McCarthy got the workers she had to get products from vendors so she had to get another loan to afford them! The she had to get customers, but first came the gas station part like how she made the canopy above the gas tanks so you don't get soaked while you're pumping gas. Finally she had to do advertising for the market like newspapers! Fun fact the EZ Market has only been up for four years! I learned lots of new things about jobs, building, and entrepreneurs, but the thing that stuck out the most was that Mrs. McCarthy and her husband own almost all of the EZ Marts, and markets you'll see!

Today my class walked to EZ Market to learn about being an entrepreneur. Mrs McCarthy was the one who spoke to us, and is also the owner of the EZ Market. First she told us about the needs of the community. Like Onekama didn't have a grocery store. The second thing they had to do was find the property. They had to hire an architect and builders. They also donated to places like are school. Mrs McCarthy had to hire employees, like cashiers, stockers, cleaners, and a butcher. She also did advertisements like newspapers and social media. She also had to have a permit to build. She said it took about two years to build! Thankyou Mrs McCarthy for showing us the EZ Market and showing us how to start a business!

Today my class walked to EZ Market to learn about being an entrepreneur. Mrs. McCarthy was  the one who owns EZ Market and spoke to the class about the business. The first thing that we learned was the products. For some of the products you had to be 21 or over to buy some things. The second thing we learned was how they built the store. They had to hire an architect to draw out the store's design. One other thing is that they had to find land and get a permit to build the store. Mrs. McCarthy also had to get loans from the bank to be able to build the business. She also had to hire employees for the store to run. Some of the employees she had to hire are butchers, stockers, bakers, cleaners, and cashiers. One other thing is that she had to get products the community needed. Mrs. McCarthy got money by buying the products and sold them for a bit more expensive. The way she advertises her business is through newspapers and social media. Our class had fun learning about being an entrepreneur at EZ Market.

Today my class and I walked to EZ Market and learned about entrepreneurs. Mrs. McCarthy, was the person we spoke to, and who owns EZ Market. One of the first things we talked about was trying to find the right property so it wouldn't contaminate the water and land. The second thing we talked about is to have to have a permit to build on the land. Then they had to get an architect to draw the plans for the building. After that they had to get builders. Then she took out loans to get the groceries and then later on pay them back. After that she said, ”We have to get different kinds of workers like a butcher, cooler workers, electricians, and people to set up the heat.”  Also you have to hire the workers. So you have to be 18 to be a cashier, 13 to stock the shelves and kinda old to be a cleaner. There are also inspections so you really need cleaners or else shoppers might not come back. They also do ads on social media, newspapers, and other plant forms. Also Mrs.Punches set this up. Mrs.Punches set the EZ Market trip for us.  She also  works for JA Junior Achievement. Also Mrs. Punches got us cookies at the end! She asked if anyone was allergic to peanuts and I was the only one who raised my hand! So Mrs.McCarthy went and got chocolate chip cookies for me, it was so nice. Then on the way back we moved our hands to look like we were honking and lots of cars honked! That's what I learned and did when we visited the EZ Market.
