Lakeshore Children's Advocacy Center

The Lakeshore Children's Advocacy Center is hosting safety programs for local schools. Our first program meeting was yesterday, Thursday. There will be another meeting in two weeks on that Thursday (November 16).

The program is geared toward helping the children learn to identify unsafe situations and also what they can do about them and/or avoid them. So, things like "stranger danger", abuse (physical/verbal), bullying and much more are covered. The program also helps the children identify safe people and situations to help them decide faster and with confidence what to do or who to go to.
